Course details

LANGUAGE

This module uses real-world country case studies to illustrate how INFFs can be utilized to tackle sustainable development challenges by enhancing coherence among policies, making financing flows more transparent and incentivizing long-term investment. It also provides step-by-step guidance for INFF development and details UNDP’s support services for governments opting to design INFFs.

In 2022-2023, UNDP worked with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) to create a self-directed e-learning course on the development and implemented of Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs), which is linked to this module.

After an introduction to UNDP’s work on INFFs, you will be prompted to complete the UNESA course. Finally you will return to this module for specific examples related to UNDP’s Signature Solutions.

How to complete the e-learning modules

  1. First, you will be prompted to create a username and password. This allows you to return to the module where you left off. You can also save your responses to quizzes and reflections.
  2. Take time to reflect. Most learning happens when you take new knowledge, skills, or attitudes and apply them in your own work. Throughout the modules, pause and consider:
  • Is this already happening in the context where I work and can I support existing efforts?
  • Is this something I could integrate into my work? How can I get started?
  • What else do I need to learn in order to implement this approach?
