Aligning Capital for the SDGs focuses on ensuring that investments generate positive social and environmental impacts whilst yielding financial returns. Through the Sustainable Finance Hub, we offer services that align investments with the SDGs. 

Impact Management

Ensuring investments are aligned with the SDGs requires robust impact management frameworks. We provide comprehensive tools and standards to help investors measure and manage the social and environmental impacts of their investments. 

SDG Impact Standards: Offering comprehensive standards to guide investors in integrating the SDGs into their investment practices. These standards help investors measure and manage their impact, ensuring that investments contribute positively to sustainable development and achieve the SDGs. This includes specific standards for: 

  • Enterprises
  • Private Equity Funds
  • Bond Issuers
  • Financing Sustainable Development 

Assurance Design and Implementation Working Group: Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement assurance frameworks that ensure the credibility and effectiveness of SDG-aligned investments. 

Impact Training

To support investors and enterprises in achieving meaningful impact, we offer a range of training programmes that build capacity in impact measurement and management. 

  • SDG Impact Standards Trainings: Providing training programmes on applying SDG Impact Standards to ensure investments align with the SDGs. 
  • Train-the-Trainer Programme: Equipping trainers with the knowledge and skills to educate others on impact measurement and management. 
  • Impact Management and Measurement Trainings: Offering training to build the capacity of investors and enterprises in impact measurement and management. 
  • E-Learning: Impact for SDGs Course: An online course designed to educate participants on the importance and application of impact management for achieving the SDGs.
