UNDP Director Beloe Highlights Post-FFD4 Implementation Priorities on All Things Sustainable Podcast

In the latest episode of the All Things Sustainable podcast, Tom Beloe, Director of the Sustainable Finance Hub at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), reflects on the outcomes of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) and the road ahead for financing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Speaking with host Lindsey Hall, Beloe emphasizes the importance of the Sevilla Platform for Action, which was launched at FFD4 as a global roadmap for implementation. He discusses how UNDP is supporting countries and coalitions to translate global commitments into concrete, measurable progress—through public and private finance reform, the use of Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs), and alignment with national development strategies.

The interview highlights several UNDP-supported initiatives introduced or expanded at FFD4, including INFFs, Tax Inspectors Without Borders 2.0, and the ImpactWorks Alliance. These efforts are part of a broader push to shift from short-term funding gaps to long-term systemic transformation.

Beloe’s segment begins at the 23:30 mark of the episode, which also features perspectives from the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, climate negotiations in Bonn, and London Climate Action Week.
